Spoilers: This takes place before the final three episodes of Season 8. So certain people are alive and certain people don’t even exist.

Summary: It was supposed to be two weeks in Africa. Arizona could do that in her sleep. Then things happened. 

Author’s Note: Was waiting for the finale to end to post this. I AM ON A HOT STREAK. Shonda Rhimes gave me the lady storytelling version of blue **cough**. I’m dealing with it as best I can. Also this fic skirts the crack realm. Heck I'd probably just straight up call it crackfic. Though give Shonda a few seasons. She might go to this place given enough time.

Author’s Note: I made the mistake of watching the first five minutes of the finale and then was all MUST WRITE STUFF NOT GRUESOME AND AWESOME LIKE THAT. So this is the shortest chapter yet but it doesn’t involve HORRIBLE AND AWESOME AND GRUESOME AND HORRIBLE stuff like the finale does. Whatever. Whatever.

Author’s Note: So Callie is bisexual and part of what I’ve been wanting to do with this story is actually explore that. Especially because she didn’t/doesn’t have the Erica/Mark thing to figure it all out in one quick swoop. So apologies to people expecting something immediately earth shattering. I do have plans though. :D

Also this chapter was going to be longer but WRITER’S PREROGATIVE: I loved the ending too much.
